The diary of Photography #2

I feel as though I’ve just gone and totally neglected this mini-series! I’ve been busy starting back at college that I just haven’t had the time to take photos that are worth sharing, so instead I thought i’d show you a little creative way in which I’m going to start showing my photos.

I do have an instagram dedicated specifically for my more ‘professional’ type photos, although I don’t post regularly, you can still check it out here. A while ago I was watching BeautySpectrum (Molly) on Youtube and for her a-level photography she presented all her work in a black scrapbook and I loved the idea and that’s what i’m doing today in this post!

I hate the thought of all my photos just going to waste so I ordered a few from Aldi photos, bought a black scrapbook from Hobbycraft for £6 and a white pen!

I sorted through my photos and just put them in piles, depending on what photo it was. I also wanted to do a little introduction page so that when I look back on this in the future, i’ll have a little introduction page. I just included my name, age and a little bit of info- as well as some pictures. When I tested out the white pen, at first it wasn’t showing up and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do this post- but you have to be patient and wait for it to dry to show up white!

I then went onto just plan out my pages, stick pictures down and then start writing about it. I wrote a little bit about the actual day i took the pictures and I wrote good things and bad things about the photos, so that I can see how i’ve improved over time!

This was such a fun little thing to do to look back on all the photos i’ve taken and actually sit down and analyse and see how i can start improving in the future.

Thank you for reading!
