At the start of May I decided to message my blogger friend Beth asking her if she’d like to do a box swap where we send each other a parcel with some products and she said yes! I’ve always wanted to do something like this because it was so fun and makes a really good blog post.
We set ourselves some rules like a budget of £15, cruelty free brands only and we decided on a theme/topic for the box would be our favourite products. I really wanted to splash out and buy my favourite high end products for her but my bank account would’ve hated me so I stuck to drug store and took a trip to Superdrug. To see what I got Beth you’re gonna have to go over and read her blog post by clicking here.
She posted her box to me near the end of May and it came next day in such a cute little box with the sweetest card with a cute little note inside. All of the products were wrapped up in shiny pink paper and the box was filled with pink tissue paper, 10/10 for the packaging!
It felt a lot like Christmas when I was opening the presents, who wouldn’t get excited over a box full of makeup goodies? In total, there were 4 products and it was a good range of different types of items!
The first thing I opened was The Body Shop Vitamin E facial wash. I love The Body Shop and i’ve recently started using their camomile range so I was excited to try it out. It smells nice, it’s pink and leaves your face feeling really refreshed. I get so annoyed because I can never find face washes and skincare to suit my sensitive skin but this didn’t irritate it at all!
I then opened the highlighter which is the I heart Revolution Goddess Of Love in the shade Golden Goddess. I actually have this highlighter in the Unicorn Hearts shade (*spoiler* I actually got the Unicorn Hearts shade for Beth!!) and I love it as an everyday highlighter and I love this just as much. It’s a more gold type of highlighter but it’s not too dark that it wouldn’t look good on my pale face! Beth said she loves this and I know this will look so glowy on my skin or underneath one of my BarryM liquid chrome highlighters.
I opened the smallest gift of them all and it turned out to be the Revolution Matte Lipstick in a gorgeous dark nude shade named Chauffeur. I’ve only ever tried Revolution liquid lipstick and never any of their matte one’s but this is such a pretty, everyday shade which I really like. It doesn’t dry out my lips what so ever and the packaging kind of reminds me of a Mac lipstick. I can see why Beth loves this.
The last one I opened was the most exciting. It was the Nip+Fab Sculpted Eyeshadow Palette with 12 shades, most predominately matte shades. Beth said she hadn’t tried this but had been wanting it for the longest time and i’m so glad that she got me this. When I first tried it, I used one of the darker shades of brown and I cannot explain how pigmented it came out on my eye, even using a brush. I didn’t actually realise Nip+Fab did eyeshadow palette’s but i’m so happy I have this because it’s the perfect nude palette. I don’t have a lot of palette’s that have more matte shades than shimmery so it’s such a good addition to my collection.
That’s it for the box swap! It was so fun and lovely to do this with Beth and we’ve agreed we’ll more than likely be doing it again with a different topic for the box. Don’t forget to read Beth’s version of the post and go and give her a follow on Twitter and Instagram.
Don’t forget my social media;
I want to try every single one of these after reading this! LOVE that they are all cruelty free. The colour of that highlighter looks amazing!x

I never tried any products from the Body Shop and I’ve seen it being recommended on so many blogs now that I really have to try. Swaping boxes with other bloggers is a very cool idea! You received some nice things.
