365 Days of Reflection; Blogiversary

I’ve been blogging for almost a year, which is kind of crazy. My first ever blog post (click here to read) was uploaded on this day, a year ago! I was completely new to the world of WordPress and was excited to start getting my content out!

The past year, in terms of blogging, have been pretty incredible. I’ve made some amazing blogging friends like Beth & Jessand i’ve discovered some of my all time favourite bloggers like Bexa, Sophie & Alice. 12 months have flown by and I can 100% say that these 365 days have shown me how incredibly strong and supportive the blogging community has been.

I managed to juggle a higher education course at college as well as a Christmas job in retail all whilst making and building up a blog i’m so proud of. My favourite post (I think) has to be the Blogger Box Swap with Beth! It was such a fun post and I think it’s the turning point in blog posts where I saw a definite improvement in my photography. My most popular post 5 Things New Bloggers Will Understand was when I decided to start doing more chatty posts and it went down well, I guess because it was relatable!

Over the year i’ve luckily had a few sponsored posts and i’ve been gifted some amazing products from brands. I started blogging out of pure passion for creative writing & photography and cannot be happier that i’ve made some sort of money through this hobby of mine. I’m nowhere near taking blogging full time but at the moment i’m incredibly happy and luckily at all of the support I get.

I think the highlight of my blogging year has been the incredible milestone of 1,000 followers on here which I reached in month 9! I grew really quickly and i’ll never not be thankful for that. Starting my blog as a serious hobby was probably the best thing I ever did. I feel so much more confident in my writing, photography and as a person and it’s generally made me feel so much more positive about life and the opportunities that are to come in the future.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to every single commenter, follower, reader, supporter whoever you might be, just reading one blog post means so much me.
